Much better experience than the first time my husband and I visited. We ordered the same things we had the first time and the chicken on my salad and my husband’s burger patty were much fresher and didn’t taste spongy and frozen like before. Very happy with the improvements they’ve made. Definitely coming back!

Have gone for breakfast a couple weekends ago and it was great (not photographed). Went the other night for dinner and won’t do that again. My husband’s fish and chips were good, but I couldn’t eat my clam chowder because it had bacon in it. The turkey burger was tasteless and the texture was of a frozen patty. My chocolate shake was good, but I had ordered a malt. I appreciate the employee who was working, he was very friendly and apologetic about the soup. Restaurant was clean and more modern than the original, still a lot of great memorabilia to look at. All-in-all we will stick with coming here strictly for breakfast. (And maybe for fries & shakes, too!)

Totally surprised at the gourmet style of the food! The rib eye burger was tender and had a fresh bun. The burger with mushroom and cheese was so flavorful and juicy. Service was great and atmosphere is very comfortable. Lots of options at the bar and they even have Fevertree tonic and gingerbeer.

Meh-ggy Sue's. Grossly overpriced food that wasn't quite as good as I expected it to be, considering the working man's menu they had. Got a Philly cheese steak sandwich and some "crispy fries" (which are just fries). Everything was fine except for the $21 price tag of the meal and drink (tip excluded), which I was willing to pay with the hope that it would be particularly good, but it was average; even in portion size. Sadly, Applebee's or Chili's would've been a better call.

the server forgot to bring out my food for 30 minutes and just let me waiting while I watched my friends finish their meals. I finally had to alert him and ask about my food. He apologized about forgetting about me and handed me the plate telling me the food was still warm. When I finally ate the food it was so dry it gave me a stomach ache. The whole meals service was really chaotic. Like it took a super long time to get coffee brought to the table and it didn’t come out until after two meals. The server brought us 2 napkins for the three of us. I never have see such bad service. The place was empty other than two other people. So it didn’t really make any sense why the server was so inattentive and forgetful.

Used to frequent the downtown San José location for years. Stumbled upon this location in Sunnyvale. We ordered the Hollywood burger with chili cheese fries, my little chick-a-dee sandwich with curly fries and a mint chip milkshake. The curly fries were super crispy and the stand out item!
